Tri-M Foundation
Overview
The Tri-M Foundation, the parent organization of Troupe Texas, is a non-profit corporation chartered by the State of Texas and recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organization. Originally founded to support student performance projects at Texas State University - San Marcos, the Foundation is an independent organization governed by a board of directors with backgrounds in performing arts administration, education, performance, production, finance, and law.
The Foundation serves as a consulting, administrative, and funding organization that solicits and distributes funds to support projects in the performing and media arts, including the study, research, production, and presentation of theatre, music, dance, and motion pictures. Contributions to the Foundation are deductible for federal tax purposes.
