Monologues and Merlot
WINE, CHEESE, AND DRAMATIC MONOLOGUES AT THE MOSHEIM MANSION
Troupe Texas joins with the Mosheim Mansion Bed and Breakfast and Becker Vineyards to present the third in a series of wine and cheese tastings entitled "Monologues and Merlot" at 3PM - 5PM on Sunday, August 16th.
For a cover of $20 each, patrons will receive complimentary wine and cheese while actors perform a variety of short monologues, readings, and dramatic scenes, ranging from bawdy comedy to Dylan Thomas to Shakespeare to improv — where we might take a special event in your life and act it out as a musical comedy. A representative of Becker Vineyards of Stonewall, TX will talk about the wines and answer questions. This will be the final presentation of this summer's "Monologues and Merlot" series.
A wide variety of wines from Becker Vineyards and actors from Texas will appear in the Great Room of the Mansion. Patrons are also free to roam the mansion and grounds. Following the presentation, patrons can meet the actors and talk with Bob and Carol, owners of the Mosheim Mansion. Reservations are recommended.
